Vision

The sonic identity of FDL (Yelo League) was crafted to deliver a strong, impactful sound that reflects the spirit of sport and excitement.
It aims to boost crowd engagement while staying rooted in the league’s cultural identity.

A mix of instruments and sounds was selected to capture the high-energy atmosphere of football matches, creating an interactive audio experience that energizes fans and elevates the matchday vibe.

DNA Brand Audio Identity

The DNA phrase for FDL was crafted using crowd-based vocal elements to create a distinctive musical signature that reflects the league’s character and sports values.
The melody captures excitement and fan engagement, expressing the energy and thrill of the matches.
This phrase is reused across the league’s audio elements to strengthen the sonic identity and build a strong mental connection between the audience and FDL.

Brand Audio Identity

The main composition for Pause Away was built on a gradual sound structure.
It begins softly and grows steadily toward a peak, reflecting the brand’s core values: calm, authenticity, and balance.

The piece opens in the Nahawand maqam, chosen for its emotional depth and blend of elegance and tranquility aligning with Pause Away’s intent to create inner clarity.

It starts with a gentle rhythm from hangdrums, offering a quiet space away from noise.
Musical layers unfold smoothly piano and synthesizer tones emerge, touched by improvised flute phrases.
The oud then joins, adding cultural and emotional depth.

As the music builds, the qanun enters in harmony with a backdrop of strings and bass synth.
All elements gradually converge, reaching a full sonic climax.

At this peak, the piece closes with the DNA phrase a clear interaction between oud and flute, surrounded by the full ensemble capturing the essence of Pause Away in a unified musical moment.

The sonic identity of the Yelo League was designed to reflect the spirit of competition in Saudi Arabia’s First Division, blending local identity, intensity, and a constant drive for promotion.
It focuses on three key pillars, each translated into distinct musical elements to represent the full league experience—from the pitch to the fans to the ultimate dream.
